The Chatswood High School Parent Network
The Parent Network is a great way to get to know and keep in contact with families in your child's year. Each year has a small group of Parent Network coordinators who keep the Parent Network list up to date and send emails to the group with relevant information.
The purpose of the parent network is to
- provide opportunities for parents and carers to get to know other families in their child's year group through social events - morning teas, picnics, BBQs, dinners, bowling days...
- assist in asking for helpers at school activities via email. Each year group is responsible for a specific function during the year - see the yearly events.
- provide support to the Year Advisor or Deputy Principal if required
- provide help with translations for speakers of Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese - CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse)
- provide a contact list to parents to enable them to contact others in their year group when necessary.
PLEASE NOTE: the contact list is NOT to be used as a medium for advertising. Please treat it as private and confidential and be mindful about issues such as junk email and viruses.

Are you new to Chatswood High School?
It is often important to new parents, particularly when they are from interstate or overseas, to be able to make contact with someone who understands our school system. We invite you to contact one of the Parent Network Coordinators for your child/children's year. You can also ask them to add you to your parent network email list.

Has your child misplaced an assignment sheet (again)?
Unsure about when exams or the next mufti day are being held? Maybe other parents will have the information you need! Signing up to the Parent Network allows you to exchange useful information via email and to learn more about Chatswood High School. The email list also keeps you up to date about occasional social events with other school parents and families – a pleasant way of meeting your child's mysterious high school friends, or their parents. So if you've got questions, concerns or even just want to share some information with other parents of children in your child's year, then join the email list – all we need is your name, your child's name and class and a contact email.
