Tomorrow Man and Woman - 6 May

Tomorrow Man Woman

Date: Monday 6 May 2019 (changed from 1 May)

Time: 6pm - 8pm

Place: Chatswood High School Learning Space

Following the success of Tomorrow Man workshops at CHS in 2018, the CHS P&C is proud to host more workshops for Year 10 students this year, plus an evening parent workshop. We are also excited to announce that CHS will be one of the first schools in Australia to host the newly launched Tomorrow Woman program.

Tomorrow Man & Tomorrow Woman are about reinventing masculinity and femininity and challenging the narrow rules around what it means to be a man or a woman today. The program aims to disrupt outdated gender stereotypes, strengthen emotional muscle and reinvent a modern more flexible alternative for teens. It is about encouraging healthy traits that strengthen resilience and keep more of our young people alive today and tomorrow.

This workshop is your chance to understand the work done by the Tomorrow team. Come along and get ready to:

  • Explore the impact stereotypes have on us and our boys and girls
  • Have deeper conversations with your teenager
  • Better understand the pressures of being a teenager and
  • Better support your teenager.

The event is open to all CHS parents and parents from nearby schools. Parents only at the evening workshop – no students.
