Parent Contributions

The P&C raises the bulk of its funds through voluntary parent contributions to the General, Marnie and Building Funds. The P&C works closely with the school towards building a stronger school community where all children benefit.

P&C Contributions are vital to ensure key programs, equipment and initiatives are maintained. The more contributions that are received, the more opportunities we have to invest in your child's development and education.

P&C Contributions for 2012

• Building Fund $150 (tax deductible)
• General Fund $50
• Marnie Fund $20 - the Marnie Fund contribution helps maintain the P&C's rural property near Mudgee, which is used for music camps, Duke of Edinburgh Scheme, field trips etc.

How else can you help?

Every family has the opportunity and is encouraged to participate in any way - big or small. Any help is always appreciated.

The more people involved in our P&C, the more exciting and successful it will be. Great results can be achieved for our children and our school when we work together. Through building community and contributing to worthwhile projects and programs we will ensure the best possible education and future for our children at Chatswood High School.

Here are some ways you can help

• Canteen - volunteers to prepare and serve food, as well as on the committee that runs the business
• Uniform Shop - volunteers in the shop, as well as on the committee that runs the business
• Functions and activities
• Fundraising
  • Trivia - assist in getting donations for prizes, put together baskets, setup and packup on the day. See the Trivia page for more details.
• Writing Grant Applications - attract extra funding through grant applications so we can make our money go further
  • Tennis Courts - gather information on refurbishing the tennis courts in preparation for a Community Building Partnership Grant
  • Outdoor Learning Space - gather information to prepare for a grant application for an outdoor learning space
• Planning and Budgeting
