Healthy Kids Canteen Recognition Awards 2011

Congratulations to Mrs Jane Stergio, one of our wonderful Canteen volunteers, who was the runner up to Volunteer of the Year in the recent Healthy Kids Canteen Recognition Awards.

Mrs Stergio was commended for her enthusiasm, helpfulness, good ideas & problem solving skills and her capacity to always look for new ways to help the canteen service improve and the business move forward and succeed. Mrs Stergio's prizes included a cheque for $300 for Chatswood High School.

Mrs Maureen Chaffey, our Canteen Manager was also acknowledged for her great work in the Canteen. Maureen was a finalist as Canteen Manager of the Year.  She was commended for working tirelessly to ensure a high standard of tasty, healthy food for students and staff, and for creating a welcoming place where parents can volunteer and be part of our school community.
