The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) of Chatswood High School brings parents, staff and other members of the community together, to advance the best interests of the school and its students. The P&C plays an important role in supporting the school through parent volunteer Sub-Committees which support the programmes and activities that the School is involved with. All parents are invited to participate in the activities of the P&C.

In late 2017, the P&C funded the provision of an extra 60 lockers (at a cost of over $9800) to help meet increased year 7 student demand. These extra lockers were due to be installed in week 1 of this term.
However, we have recently been informed by the external provider, installation has been delayed until week 5.
Unfortunately this will mean that a large number of students won’t have access to a locker for another 2 weeks.
We acknowledge this is far from ideal for our new year 7 students, who have to carry heavy books and sporting equipment to high school each day.
We apologise for any inconvenience, which unfortunately is out of our control.
Our volunteer Locker Coordinator will contact you shortly when these extra lockers have been installed.
Thank you for your understanding.
December is normally a busy time for the uniform shop, with fitting new students on Orientation Day, and then the end of year stocktake. This year there was an extra task: the shop's contents were packed into 75 plastic tubs in preparation for the move to our new location, in the old admin building next to the school hall.
The P&C purchased a wreath for the Remembrance Day Commemoration Service in the Garden of Remembrance near Chatswood station. The school captains, school principal and P&C representatives were present on the day to present the wreath.
The Australian Sports Commission have 4 rounds of grants each year for supporting local sporting champions.
Family and Community Services (FACS) is offering Scholarships to help students enrolled in education or training to complete their studies. Successful applicants will receive $1,000 to help with school expenses. For more information see their website.
